Description of Service

The Nursing Department share their knowledge and specialism to outside agencies through Education and Training Courses provided at the NRH and in Community Settings, and also through Presentations delivered at Seminars and Conferences nationally and internationally.  This helps to give an insight into the work carried out at the NRH. Providing education to our healthcare colleagues in the community helps to ensure a safe patient journey from acute care to the NRH.

Nursing and HCA Education Courses provided at the NRH
The Nurse Education Department at the NRH delivers courses suitable for all registered nurses in both hospital and community settings.

Course accreditation: CEUs (depending on course) from Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland (NMBI).
