The National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) is currently undergoing a major transformation of its facilities and services. Phase 1 of the redevelopment project is now fully operational. The detailed design of the new hospital provides for a state of the art, purpose built facility – the first of its kind in Ireland. It includes 120 single ensuite rooms, rehabilitation – specific integrated therapy spaces, social spaces, clinical and ancilliary facilities.
This new facility will contribute to a positive environment for achieving the desired rehabilitation goals and outcomes for each patient and will impact positively on staff delivering our services. We are very proud of this fantastic new development and are seeking dynamic professionals to join our team at this pivotal and exciting time in the history of the NRH.

Registered Advance Nurse Practitioner in Adult Brain Injury and Stroke
(Permanent, Full-Time)
The advanced practice service is provided by nurses who practice at a higher level of capability as independent, autonomous and expert advanced practitioners. The overall purpose of the service is to provide safe, timely, evidenced based nurse-led care to patients at an advanced nursing level. This involves undertaking and documenting complete episodes of patient care, which include comprehensively assessing, diagnosing, planning, treating and discharging patients in accordance with collaboratively agreed local policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines and/or service level agreements/ memoranda of understanding.
