Sr Aileen McCarthy

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Sr Aileen McCarthy who died peacefully on 25th May, 2019.  Sr Aileen was one of the founding members of the National Rehabilitation Hospital (formerly Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital) when it was first established in 1961, and was a pioneer in setting up outreach and liaison services for people with Spinal Cord Injury throughout Ireland.

Sr Aileen will be very sadly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.   May she Rest In Peace.
