Paediatric Family-Centred Programme Patient Outcomes
This section details some information about the Paediatric-Family Centred (Inpatient and Day Patient) Programme which relates to how we measure the activity; effectiveness; efficiency of, and access to the Programme.
- In 2013, the Paediatric Programme served 78 children and young people as Inpatients and Day Patients. Of these, 45 patients were new to the Programme and 33 had been previously admitted.
- The age range of the children and young people served in the Paediatric Programme in 2013 was 1 – 18 years.
- Of the 45 new patients served and discharged in 2013, the following is a breakdown of the diagnoses involved:

In 2013, the average length of time waiting for admission was 73 days.
