National Rehabilitation Hospital

Patient Outcomes

The National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) is committed to a programme of continual review of its service delivery.

Following on from reviews, it implements various quality improvement plans. During 2009, the areas considered were:

  • Average waiting time for admission to the National Rehabilitation Hospital (from time patients were placed on the waiting list)
  • Improvement patients made in their functional ability during their stay
  • Patients’ average length of stay at NRH
  • Patients discharged to home (rather than back to Acute hospital or residential care)
