National Rehabilitation Hospital

Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapists at NRH work with patients to help them regain skills used in daily living activities such as the daily hygiene and dressing routine, or activities useful for study, work or hobbies.

The work of the Occupational Therapists also includes assisting patients to identify equipment used as part of daily living activities, for example, bathing equipment or adaptations to a computer.

Occupational Therapists also assess patients’ home, study or school, and work settings, and suggests modifications that will make it easier for the person to carry out daily tasks.
