Occupational Therapy Intervention Process Model (OTIPM) – An Introduction

Course Description:

This one day course is open to occupational therapy practitioners, researchers and educators who wish to learn about the OTIPM (a contemporary occupation centred conceptual model or practice) and its application to practice.

Course Aims:

During this one day course participants will:

  • Explore contemporary theoretical ideas around occupation centred practice
  • Be introduced to the OTIPM as a model that has been developed to support occupation centred practice
  • Reflect upon current practice and consider ways in which their assessment documentation, intervention and outcome measurement could be more occupation centred

This course will be delivered by Sue Mesa who is an AMPS trainer for AMPS-ESI UK and Ireland, and a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at York St John University

Date: 12th March 2016   Time: 9.00am – 4.00pm

Location: National Rehabilitation Hospital, Rochestown Ave, Dún Laoghaire. Co. Dublin – Training Room in Prosthetics Department

Course Fee: €100 (includes refreshments; lunch not included but can be purchased in the coffee shop and staff canteen).
